Sign of the Times

I was driving down the road and I saw three people with hoodies waiting at the bus stop. They had their heads bowed down with their hands in front of them. They appeared to be in deep concentration and I thought they were in prayer. When I drove closer, I saw that they were three people with hoodies all looking down at their cell phones. Sign of the times!

Rose colored glasses

My philosophy teacher once said to me that I see the world in rose colored glasses. I responded, " What colored glasses are yours?" Before you try to clean the mote from someone's eyes, clean the mote from your own eyes. How do you see the world? Do you see it as it is or as you judge it? Our experiences just are. They are neither good nor bad. We put those value labels on them. Now we all tend to judge things, but if we can just set our rulngs aside, and accept things as they are at this moment, life will reveal itself to you.
